Ministers Living in Glass Churches Shouldn’t Throw Judgments

Creepy Eddie’s at it again. Twisting reality to suit his agenda while ignoring the truth.

Either that or he is just really that bad at reading comprehension.

This Scientology Spokesmouth, who purports to stand up for the rights of others, has completely forgotten that in this country one is innocent until proven guilty.

A recent article in The Hollywood Reporter stated that Paul Haggis’ name had not been included in the press release for the movie 5B. It goes on to state that Mr. Haggis’ name was included in the credits at the end of the movie. Something Parkin seems to have overlooked in his smarmy, gleeful twitter post attacking Haggis.

Parkin actually quotes the Bible, stating “As the Bible says; whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Creepy Eddie would do well to spend more time reflecting on the message of that quote.

The short article in The Hollywood Reporter goes on to explain that the decision was made to keep Haggis’ name from the press release in order to not have the media focused on his private life, but rather on the message of the movie.

5B is about a hospital in San Francisco that was on the front lines of the early AIDS epidemic and the film, which was produced and directed by Paul Haggis and included his name in the Credits, got rave reviews.

Parkin attempts to make people believe that the decision not to include Haggis’ name in the press release somehow proves the director’s guilt. This is not the case at all.

The only thing accomplished was simply the ability for those screening the movie to do so free from the distractions of unproven, untried allegations against the Director that have nothing to do with the film.

Not too long ago Parkin was whining that others were attempting to hinder his First Amendment rights.

In true Scientology fashion, the hypocrite turns right around and publicly denies someone else his right to be innocent until proven guilty.

For Creepy Eddie and his ilk, truth matters not at all when there is a chance to cause hurt and harm to someone else.

In spite of the fact that journalist Bryan Seymour publicly announced that neither Leah Remini nor Mike Rinder were in any way involved in the fatal stabbing at the Australian Org in January, Parkin continues to claim they are complicit with “blood on their hands”.

In the world of Scientology reality is a fluid and malleable thing.

In the absence of facts, make them up.

Where facts don’t suit, change them.

Interesting that Eddie says nothing about Danny Masterson.

In his case the LAPD had an entire folder filled with “overwhelming evidence” against him that somehow magically disappeared. Freed from that inconvenient little file folder, Masterson is in the same position as Haggis; accused but not yet charged or tried in Court.

There is no outrage by Parkin for Masterson’s victims, yet he attempts to publicly shame Paul Haggis who has no folder filled with damning evidence against him.

Eddie’s carefully chosen Bible quote of reaping what one sows applies more to him than it does to Mr. Haggis.

Fair Game is a double edged sword. While it causes pain to it’s victims, there is also a reckoning to come for those who wield it.

Parkin ignored many other pertinent quotes as he attempted to turn the Bible into a weapon of hate.

“He who conceals hatred has lying lips, And he who spreads slander is a fool.” Proverbs 10:18

“Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, But those who deal faithfully are His delight.”

Proverbs 12:22

“You shall not go about as a slanderer among your people, and you are not to act against the life of your neighbor; I am the LORD.” Leviticus 19:16

Creepy Eddie calls himself a Minister. He claims to stand against hate and bigotry and for the upholding of the rights of everyone. Not once has his actions upheld his words.

Name calling, falsely accusing innocent people of heinous crimes, lying and twisting the truth are not the actions of a Minister. They are not ethical, moral or holy.

This most recent attempt to discredit Paul Haggis without evidence, conviction or trial highlights exactly who and what this representative of Scientology truly is.

Scientology shows nothing but disrespect for Christianity by displaying the Cross upon their buildings. They attempt to justify their despicable actions and policies by claiming brotherhood with a Faith founded upon Jesus, someone their own founder disparaged and denied.

Now Parkin publicly attacks a man who has not been given his time in Court. There has been no evidence produced against Paul Haggis and examined by a judge and 12 of his peers.

Creepy Eddie dares presume to look once again at Christianity as a tool and weapon in his campaign of slander, libel and hate.

“If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.” James 1:26

“He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.” 1 John 2:9

Creepy Eddie would have everyone believe that this article was a judgement upon the guilt or innocence of Paul Haggis.

It was nothing of the sort.

The article in The Hollywood Reporter clearly explained the reason for omitting Mr Haggis’ name from the press release. It was a reasonable and sound decision so that the seriousness of the message of the film would not be lost in the personal life issues of the director. His name was in the Credits at the end, which makes its own statement that Parkin ignored.

Eddie Parkin would benefit from a lot more time spent reading the Bible for himself instead of throwing it at others.

Ministers who live in glass churches shouldn’t throw judgments.
