According to the IMO website it is “a specialized agency of the United Nations, IMO is the global standard-setting authority for the safety, security and environmental performance of international shipping. Its main role is to create a regulatory framework for the shipping industry that is fair and effective, universally adopted and universally implemented.”
What an honor that a distinguished U.N. organization would choose a Scientology ship for such an important operation!

IMO has not appointed the Freewinds to carry out training.
IMO runs hundreds of training courses and workshops under its integrated technical cooperation programme, to build capacity in developing countries.
Under this programme, host countries may provide training facilities, such as classrooms and ships. When training courses are held, a host country may offer a ship’s facilities for onboard training.
