Scientology’s Latest Safepoints

Considering that Scientology has no spirituality and isn’t a religion it naturally follows that they have no holy days of their own.

Filling this gap, the cult known for Fair Game and Disconnection, not to mention their blasphemous accusation that Jesus was a “lover of boys”, hijacks Christmas.

Each year Scientology issues press releases extolling their holiday events, their members singing Christmas carols and all the accepted accoutrements that say “Christmas”.

This year is no different.

Mainstream society has, over the decades reduced this Feast celebrating the birth of The Savior to a materialistic money grab. However one might expect a bit more solemnity and respect from a fellow “religion”. Christians do not normally display Menorahs just because they’re pretty. The sacred history and personal spirituality of such a symbol is understood as off limits out of respect for Jewish beliefs. The “church” of Scientology has no such reservations.

More, while Christmas is a celebration of Hope, Salvation and peace on Earth, Scientology is a cult of selfishness, greed, hate and abuse.

Christmas is a time of family, friends and togetherness.

Scientology destroys family and friendships while promoting disconnection and division.

COS’ embrace of Christmas is as phony, empty and heretical as their exhibiting of the Cross on their buildings. It is an offensive display of cavalier disrespect towards Christians that borders on an intolerant hate crime.

Spirituality aside, this year Scientology’s Hollywood, CA holiday pretense included L.A. City Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell and Baydsar Thomasian representing California State Senator Maria Elena Durazo.

O’Farrell stated, “now more than ever before we need an infusion of hope and happiness and optimism and love and mutual respect”.

Does this Safepoint tool of Scientology understand the depths of the irony and hypocrisy he participated in?

If O’Farrell is seeking love and mutual respect the very last place anyone of sound mind would look would be Scientology.

Mr. O’Farrell,

Are you aware that Scientology has for decades engaged in a public campaign to destroy an innocent man’s reputation by falsely accusing him of the most violent of domestic abuse?

Did you know that since 2019 this cult of illusion and pretense has splashed accusations of “Blood on their hands” across social media and blog posts, claiming that Mike Rinder and Leah Remini were complicit to a murder that took place in Australia?

Sir, you bemoan the pandemic yet did you know that Scientology, who first denied the situation as “hysteria” then turned it into a tool by staging dozens of fake photo ops just to create an image of “people pulling together to help each other through these challenging times.”

Mr. Councilman, have you looked at Scientology’s Stand League website? Have you seen the hundreds of attacks against so many who have had the courage to speak against the fraud, abuse, human trafficking and the destruction of families perpetuated by this group to whom you have happily lent legitimacy?

Were anyone to create such a website attacking the victims of pedophile priests would you equally support them?

Do you understand that now you too, are just another tool utilized by a dangerous, abusive cult in the name of raking in good PR?

Surely as a resident of Los Angeles you cannot be unaware of the Danny Masterson violent rape accusations? That his accusers have also suffered the most egregious intimidation tactics including the poisoning of beloved family pets?

As you stood shoulder to shoulder with Scientology to acknowledge a Christian Holy Day did you know of the hate and heresy their founder teaches?

“For those of you whose Christian toes I may have stepped on, let me take the opportunity to disabuse you of some lovely myths. For instance, the historic Jesus was not nearly the sainted figure (he) has been made out to be. In addition to being a lover of young boys and men, he was given to uncontrollable bursts of temper and hatred…. You have only to look at the history his teachings inspired to see where it all inevitably leads. It is historic fact and yet man still clings to the ideal, so deep and insidious is the biologic implanting….”

Mr. O’Farrell, as you flipped the switch to light up the tree and spoke of love do you have any idea at all how many broken families will struggle through these holidays without parents, siblings, friends, aunts and uncles because of Scientology’s policy of Disconnection?

You Sir, participated in a farce.

You were just another actor in David Miscavige’s PR play.

By agreeing to join Scientology in their performance you became complicit in their hypocrisy.

Certainly they embraced your presence at their show. You were useful.

Scientology has a written policy on Public Relations and how to make themselves look good.

You fit the bill perfectly.

Mitch O’Farrell and Senator Durazo have both made public statements by their participation in this destructive, abusive cult.

As Scientology makes a farce of Christmas, O’Farrell and Durazo’s involvement gave credibility to their actions.
